Special Olympics Virginia
The Plane Pull® is a team competition where groups of up to 25 pull a FedEx or United aircraft down the runway in the fastest time. Teams are made up of coworkers, friends, and families coming together for a shared goal of supporting Special Olympics Virginia athletes. This year’s event is a Pull Only event. The focus is entirely on the pull experience, with no festival component.
Volunteer Opportunity Description
There are plenty of ways to get involved, including donation collectors, event greeters, photographers, souvenir sales, staging assistants, tent monitors, airport tour guides, and more! Check out the event volunteer website below for all the details.
Other Important Information
Students can earn community service hours either onsite during the event or afterwards by email.
Students above the age of 14 are able to volunteer without adult supervision.
We encourage all potential volunteers to read the volunteer and event descriptions carefully before signing up.
