Volunteer Opportunity Description

There are plenty of exciting ways to get involved! Volunteer opportunities include helping with the waterslides, bounce houses, toddler zone, crafts, and fun carnival games.

Other Important Information

• Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to participate. Those aged 14 - 15 are welcome but must volunteer alongside a parent or guardian who will also complete an application and volunteer at the event.

• Shift times available:

  • 9:45am - 1:45pm (all days)

  • 1:15pm - 4:15pm (all days)

• While the event spans several days, volunteers have the flexibility to choose how long they’d like to help. The only requirement is a minimum commitment of one shift.

• Community service hours are available for volunteers! Simply bring your forms to the event or email them to allison.schwartz@marylandzoo.org after the event.
