Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. For three decades, these 3- to 5-mile non-competitive walks have collectively grown into the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement – providing a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families alike.

Friday, October 16 | 2:00–7:30 PM
Event setup
Placing directional and route signage
Hanging banners and sponsor signage
Preparing the registration and survivor areas
General event setup
Saturday, October 17 | 6:00 AM–1:00 PM
Assisting with event setup and participant check-in
Directing participants throughout the event
Helping at registration and information tents
Supporting the survivor area
Assisting with route logistics
Event breakdown and cleanup
Other Important Information
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Community service hours are available! Bring your forms to the event, or email them afterward to lisa.baynes@cancer.org for verification.
On event day, all volunteers will check in at the Volunteer Tent.
