Volunteer Details
Most volunteers engagements happen on Dance Place's Main Campus (3225 8th Street NE Washington DC 20017)
Volunteers can sign-up per Trimester (Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer). The dates vary based on performances and events.
Times of shifts depend on the type of volunteer opportunity. Show shifts are usually 5.5 hours, while handmade artist cards are an hour long.
Volunteer Opportunity Description
Some opportunities include volunteering as an Usher, Ticket Scanner, Concessions Support, Organizing costumes for our Education Department's showcases, Archival Persevation, Artist interviews, Photography and Videography exposure, Graphic Design, Flyer and Poster Distribution, Handmade Artist Cards, Installing Exhibitions, Audience Survey entry, and Grant Research.
Other Important Information
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate
